Join us at Run Melbourne and help mend a broken heart

On Sunday 30 July 2017 we're doing the Run Melbourne fun run. We aim to raise $20,000 to help mend a broken heart.

Join in the fun in four easy steps:

1. Sign up for Run Melbourne (choose the "sign up as an individual" option)

2. Go to our fundraising platform, Everyday Hero, and click "start fundraising" to set up your page. Don't forget to nominate East Timor Hearts Fund as your charity.

3. Go to our team page at Everyday Hero and join our team.

4. Share your adventure with friends, family and colleagues (please tag us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and use  #mendingbrokenhearts and #easttimorheartsfund)

If you're fortunate enough to have a healthy heart, put it to good use! Join our friendly team of Timorese and Australian heart patients, medicos, volunteers and other supporters. You don't need to be an athlete (or even leave the couch!) to get involved. Here's the options:

  • For couch potatoes or people who aren't in Melbourne - donate to our team!
  • For super athletes - go for gold, do the half marathon!
  • For laid back loungers - the beautiful, scenic 5k walk along the Yarra River is your best bet
  • For fitness fanatics - the 10k fun run that takes in a magnificent course around Melbourne's parks.

There's options for all, and every team member can help contribute to our goal of raising $20,000 to give a patient life-saving heart surgery.

This year we are especially seeking corporate teams, so if you're workplace needs a health boost please rally your colleagues and sign them up.

Use the links opposite to sign up, get more info and join our team. Note - you can join our fundraising team and help raise awareness and money, even if you don't plan to do Run Melbourne.

Where to find us on the day. Our marquee will be on Riverwalk Terrace, between Federation Square and the river. Hope to see you there! (Click map to enlarge.)

Thank you to our Run Melbourne sponsors and supporters!
